Zaharov

Andrei Zakharov (b. 1961) holds an MA and a PhD in Philosophy from Moscow State University, and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Moscow Academy of economics. He is an expert on federalism in Russia and abroad, parliamentary developments, civic activity and Russian politics. He is an author of more than 150 publications on these topics. From 1990 to 1995, he served as a Member of the Russian Parliament. Currently, he is an Editor for the “Neprikosnovenny Zapas: Debaty o Politike I Kulture” magazine and Associate Professor at the Russian State University for Humanities. He is also an expert for the Moscow School of Civic Education, the Gorbachev Foundation, and the “European Dialogue” expert group. From 2003 to 2017, he published five books.
