Irina Prokhorova, chief editor of the “New Literary Observer” publishing house, is a literary critic and history of culture researcher. Ms Prokhorova is the Liberty prize winner for services to the Russian-American cultural ties (2003), State Prize winner in the “Best Educational Project” nomination (2003), Andei Bely Prize winner (2006), Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters (France, 2005) Knight of the Légion d’Honneur (France, 2012).
