New Cultural Encyclopedia

The New Cultural Encyclopedia series presents a unique body of publications that explore strata of culture that have fallen off the radar of most researchers—i.e., culinary culture, the history of silent film, underground and/or dissident publishing, etc. Books in this series stand out by virtue of their original approach to their subject, their unique presentation of research materials, and their innovative interpretations of the phenomena under study.
