Poetry of the Russian Diaspora
Poets who live outside the countries of their birth and write with a unique blend of their own traditions and those of local receiving cultures are of special importance to contemporary poetry. The Diaspora Poetry series features the work of Soviet and Russian émigré poets, as well as the poetry of Russian-speaking authors in the former Soviet republics who have fit themselves into a global rather than a Soviet context.
